| Last Fall I took a picture down the length of our front yard with the last remnants of Carol's flower garden here in the foreground. Compare this pastel scene with the bleak image after the storm. Orient yourself by the multiple trunk tree at center. The apple tree at middle right is completely obscured by ice and rubble. The color of this photo is true to the conditions (we lived for a while in a very gray world). | |
