The Hennessy clan were friends with the Haskell family when Ron was still in diapers. Our parents stayed good friends for 50 years (John and Lucy have passed away). The friendship extends now to the children and their spouses, who regard Dick and Gloria Haskell, seated on left, as their surrogate parents.
