Hawks love our bird feeder especially in the spring. That's fine with me since it nailed this starling, a species that has a tendency to get trapped in our attic. I shot this through our picture window from six feet away. The starling wasn't dead yet. I believe the hawk is a northern harrier but have not been able to confirm that.
